I’m an Operations Specialist for SparkShop, a non profit that provides free STEM curriculum and supplies to underserved schools in the south and west side of Chicago. I’m also a part-time musician and screen printer.
Extracurriculars
Girls Rock! Chicago
This organization is near and dear to my heart. I started off as a volunteer and made my way to Camp Director it was one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life teaching young kids how to be loud. I am now back to volunteering as a Staff Organizer, focusing on events and fundraising.
Playing Music with Friends
I play bass/violin in Impulsive Hearts with a carousel of amazing people. After my bandmate, Doug Hoyer—who I feel so lucky to have made music with— moved back to Canada, I was encouraged to learn the bass and perform without having very much training.
I’ve played violin for years, focusing on country and folks styles.
Past Chicago Projects
(Part-Time) Wedding DJ
I’m a former Toast & Jam Wedding DJ with a full-time job these days, but I still do the occasional event for friends and nonprofits. I also love teaching others about digital DJing at Girls Rock! Chicago.
